Ajman University Women's Empowerment Council Celebrates International Women's Day

Ajman University celebrated International Women's Day with events organized by the Women's Empowerment Council. Activities included flower distribution and panel discussions. The opening session, "Emirati Women Who Made a Difference," featured Major Dr. Fatima Al Shamsi from Ajman Police and was moderated by Dr. Enaam Youssef. The next session, "Women with Determination Making a Difference," included Ms. Hanan Abdelwahab, moderated by Dr. Dalia Bedewy. The final session, "Live Successfully," featured Ms. Mona Al Mheza and Ms. Shikha Bin Hariz, moderated by Prof. Asma Al Arab.

The event concluded with a session titled "Inspiring Stories: Unveiling the Journeys of AU Female Students," where students including Ms. Suaad Butti Alshamsi, Ms. Mariam Ali AlKaabi, Ms. Fatima Ali Alsaadi, and Ms. Sana Faris Al Blushi from the College of Humanities and Sciences, shared their inspiring journeys. This session was moderated by Prof. Asma Al Arab.

 The Women's Empowerment Council at Ajman University promotes women's participation in society through various events and initiatives like seminars, lectures, and workshops. These activities provide support, guidance, and skill development, while the council also collaborates with relevant entities to advocate for women's roles and contribute to sustainable community development.
