Exploring Sharjah Architecture Triennial: Empowering Women and Girls in Science

In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Ajman University Women’s Empowerment Council (AUWEC), in collaboration with the College of Architecture, Art and Design, organized an enriching trip to explore the Sharjah Architecture Triennial on Sunday, February 11, 2024. This event, the first major platform for architecture and urbanism in the Middle East, North and East Africa, and Asia, aimed to inspire and empower female students and professionals in architecture and design. It aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 4: Quality Education, highlighting the critical role of women and girls in science and technology, and promoting equal opportunities and advancing education in these vital sectors.
